Cinderella's Happily Ever After: Character Dinner

This was our first character dinner and let me tell you, it definitely was worth it!

Choosing the right character dinner was very difficult due to the fact my son was the only boy on this trip and  I wanted to find the right character dinner, so that all the children would have fun.

Now my family and I are the type of family that we know we will be coming back to Disney world very soon, but my brother and his family in the other hand are not like that. So I had to consider the fact that my nieces may not go to Disney world as often than us and that it was their first time there. Also Cinderella is there all time favourite princess.

In reviewing the reviews in some character dinners, the Cinderella's Happily Ever After Character Dinner is the one that stood out to me. Not only because it was cinderella but in reading the reviews there was so many people saying that it's not just for "girls". Which made me very excited and relieved for my son.

Cinderella's  Happily Ever After Character Dinner at 1900 Park Fare is located at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, it's a buffet style dinner.
You get to meet Cinderella, Prince Charming, the mean step sisters (Anastasia & Drizella), the mean step mother (Lady Tremaine), and the fairy God mother (which I forgot to take a picture with, argh).

The characters come out one by one and goes to each table. They take pictures and interacts with everyone in the table (adults and children).

All the characters act their parts very good in my opinion. The step mother is very serious and the step sisters are funny. Cinderella and Prince Charming are obviously very sweet. It's honestly like watching a show while your eating when these characters start interacting with each other.

The food was not bad at all, considering we where doing quick service meals. This buffet was fantastic! I heard no complains from any of the kids or the big kids (my husband, brother and dad). They had lots of food for the children and adults.

What we definitely loved about Disney World and obviously this restaurant was that, they were able to accommodate my niece who has peanut and tree nut allergy. Definitely a plus when traveling with children that have allergies!

At the end of the day, all 4 kids loved it! and everyone was satisfied with the food. Hope this review helped in making plans for your character dinner.

  2. What a fun experience for your kids! I have always wondered about the character experiences like this. We've never tried them before, but now would definitely do it considering you liked it. And how wonderful that they are peanut-allergy friendly.
